Helicity current generation by distorted Rashba coupling

We theoretically study spin transport in two-or three-dimensional Rashba systems dynamically distorted by surface acoustic waves. The currents the linear response to lattice distortion dynamics are calculated on basis of a microscopic theory combined with local coordinate transformations. As result, we find mechanism direct spin-current generation from not associated charge current or accumulation. Moreover, in-plane helicity generated shear waves via present mechanism. parallel vorticity lattice, and cannot be created conventional methods. Thus, our findings offer an alternative functionality field spintronics.
